CLEVELAND, Ohio — When Kevin Love isn’t throwing game-tying touchdown passes or answering questions about trade rumors, the Cavaliers star has a pretty steady gig as a model.
On that front, it’s been a pretty good couple of days for Love, who scored 39 points in the Cavs’ thrilling win over the Washington Wizards on Monday. His latest ad campaign for Banana Republic is hitting in-store displays, billboards and direct mail this week. The photos feature pieces from BR’s spring line, which include stain and wrinkle-resistant pants, stretchy jeans and moisture-wicking sweaters.
“I am all about being comfortable while looking polished, which is why I loved the pieces in this spring campaign,” Love said in a release. “One of my favorite items are the Nanotex trousers because I’m always on the move, traveling and on the road, and they stay wrinkle free. I can pair them with lightweight layers or versatile outerwear so I’m ready for anything.”
Love, who counts Don Draper and Larry David among his fashion icons, also just launched a new collection of boxer briefs for Saxx Underwear. The NBA All-Star says the designs, which feature camouflage and patriotic patterns, were inspired by the Pacific Northwest and Americana.
Love has had an endorsement deal with Saxx since 2015. This is his second year as Banana Republic’s brand ambassador.
This past Friday in NYC I unveiled my new capsule collection with @SAXXunderwear. Inspired by Eastwood, the Pacific Northwest, Americana, and more. #SAXX #FreeToMove
