You know the old adage about “give them enough rope and they will hang themselves”? Well, how much rope will we allow the Republicans in Congress before they hang us all? One can’t believe one’s eyes at the voracity with which the Republican Congress is going after the poor and women — and do not forget the environment — in just one week.
Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers is a big part of this push to end any safety net, and we the people have to get in let her know that is not the way we like it. I fear too much rope will doom us all.
