EWING – Police are urging residents to lock their doors after a recent series of car burglaries around the township.
The warning comes after several people reported their cars broken into in the early morning hours, police said in a statement. Six people reported that their cars had been broken into on the morning of Jan. 25, according to police
Most of the cars had be left unlocked but in some cases burglars broke car windows to get inside, police said.
The incidents have caused police to increase their patrols throughout the township, according to the statement. They’re asking that anyone who sees or hears suspicious activity call police immediately at 609-882-1313 or 911.
