JERSEY CITY — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday night on Martin Luther King Drive, officials said.
Shots were fired near Atlantic Avenue at about 11 p.m., city spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said.
No one was injured in the shooting, but a car and storefront were struck during the gunfire, she said. Morrill did not comment on whether more than one gun was used in the shooting.
Photos from the scene show a red car with a large bullet hole on the lower portion of driver’s side door.
The shooting is being reported more than two days later because Jersey City did not provide any details of the incident until Tuesday morning.
No arrests have been made and the shooting remains under investigation.
