The Portland Thorns and U.S. Women’s National Team midfielder tweeted a photo of herself cradling a black-and-white puppy while in Houston at Animal Planet’s celebration of all things adorable, the annual Puppy Bowl.
Meet Matilda, who could be some kind of Border Collie or terrier mix, all cuddly.
She thanks Animal Planet and the Puppy Bowl, adding, “I fell in love. I hope I get to take Matilda home.”
