Eugenie Bouchard learned the hard way — never bet against Tom Brady.

The Canadian tennis star did just that, and now it looks like she’ll be going on a blind date with a fan from Twitter.

With the Atlanta Falcons leading Brady and the New England Patriots 28-3 in Super Bowl 51, Bouchard tweeted out “I knew Atlanta would win, btw.”

A user with the Twitter handle punslayintwoods responded hopefully “If the patriots win we go on a date?”

Given that the odds of a Pats win happening seemed to be about as likely as a snowball surviving in the earth’s molten core, Bouchard shot back “Sure.”

As the Pats’ unbelievable comeback developed, Bouchard started getting nervous, then asked punslayintwoods “So…where do you live?” (“Chicago. Go to school in Missouri. We can go on a date where ever you want!,” came the reply.)

Finally, when the Pats capped off their stunning 34-28 OT victory, she tweeted out an abbreviation for a phrase which shouldn’t be repeated in a family newspaper.

So, if you see Bouchard in Chicago or somewhere in Missouri with some guy who’s got a perma-grin etched on his face, it just might be punslayintwoods.
