Seton Hall and Georgetown will face off on Saturday in another Big East clash with the Pirates looking to get back on track after another disappointing loss.

The Pirates fell, 72-70, on the road against Xavier on Wednesday. The defeat was Seton Hall’s fifth in six games, with previous losses to Marquette, Providence, Villanova and Butler. Before this skid, the Pirates had not lost back-to-back games all season long.

Myles Powell tied his career high with 26 points, including six 3-pointers for Seton Hall (13-8, 3-6 Big East), while Desi Rodriguez had 16 points and Angel Delgado had another double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Trevon Bluiett had 24 points to lead Xavier (16-6, 6-3 Big East) — including the game-winning shot.

Georgetown has had an up-and-down season, but enters this game on a three-game winning streak including impressive victories over No. 16 Creighton and No. 11 Butler. Rodney Pryor is leading the team with 18.4 points per game.

This is the first of two meetings between Seton Hall and Georgetown this season, with the next coming on Feb. 28 back in Newark.
