In particular, the nomination of Betsy DeVos as education secretary has generating a lot of calls.

DeVos’ controversial nomination cleared a procedural vote Friday, setting up a floor vote for the full Senate on Monday or Tuesday.

The vote on DeVos’ confirmation next week is expected to be close. Two senators in the Republican majority have said they cannot support DeVos. That sets up a 50-50 vote that would require Vice President Mike Pence to break the tie for confirmation.
