Sex offense, Worton Park Drive:

A Barberton man said Jan. 27 a family acquaintance made his daughter, 12, feel uncomfortable while they were visiting his home Dec. 24. Officers determined no criminal act took place.

Impaired driving, Miner Road:

A Highland Heights man, 53, was arrested for OVI after officers observed him run a red light around 8:30 p.m. Jan. 24.

Community relations, Wilson Mills Road:

An officer assisted the Mayfield High School staff Jan. 26 during a meeting because they were concerned a parent may become irate.

Special attention, Wilson Mills Road:

A woman requested special attention at True North Shell Jan. 26 because she said her daughter, 18, closes the gas station by herself at midnight and there is a man that hangs out there and makes her feel uncomfortable. She said the man, 33, wants to date her daughter. She also said she spoke with the gas station’s corporate office in regard to her daughter closing by herself. There was no further incident.

Harassing communication, SOM Center Road:

An employee at the University Hospital Medical Center said Jan. 27 a patient keeps calling the office and harassing the staff. Officers spoke to the suspect and told her she is not welcome on the property and to stop calling the business. She said she would comply.

Impaired driving, Interstate-271:

A Lyndhurst man, 58, was arrested for OVI at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 27 after his vehicle was pulled over on the southbound entrance ramp for not having its headlights illuminated.

Suspicious activity, Beta Drive:

Officers were called to the Hilton Garden Inn at 2:20 a.m. Jan. 28 for a report of people who smelled like marijuana coming and going from a room. Officers confirmed the odor in the room and checked on everyone inside of it. The staff was satisfied and said they would handle the matter with the person who rented the room.

Harassing communication, Beta Drive:

A woman matadorbet giriş said Jan. 30 she was receiving harassing phone calls at work from a friend of her son. Officers spoke to the Chagrin Falls woman, 53, and told her charges would be filed if she continued to call the woman.
