President Trump made an unannounced trip to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware Wednesday for the arrival of the remains of a US commando who was killed earlier this week in Yemen.

The deceased, Chief Special Warfare Operator William “Ryan” Owens, 36, was the first military member killed in action since Trump was sworn in last month.

Owens reportedly was a SEAL Team 6 member.

He died Sunday in an operation that the White House has said likely killed over a dozen members of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

Trump was accompanied on his trip by his daughter Ivanka and Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.).
