Adif and Adif Alta Velocity have called 21,258 candidates to carry out the selective tests for their Public Employment Offer (OEP) during this weekend, for the incorporation of 1,451 new positions.

The exams will take place in four locations – Barcelona, ​​León, Madrid and Seville – and will take place on Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th, in morning and afternoon shifts, as reported by the railway infrastructure administrator.

Applicants for the technical staff profiles are called on Saturday and on Sunday the candidates for the professional categories of operational personnel will be examined, which represents 69% (14,743 candidates) of the applicants.

Of the total number of positions offered, 78% correspond to operational personnel, 7% to the professional category of technician and 15% to technical staff.

This OEP is part of the Multiannual Employment Plan 2021-2025, with which Adif and Adif AV will incorporate more than 6,000 professionals and represents the largest employment offer in the history of both public entities, intended to promote the generational change of approximately 50% of the staff.

The call includes 48 different profiles of professionals, in areas such as legal, finance, station marketing, architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, security, systems, circulation factor, electrical installers of installations, administrative or machinists, among others.

New professionals who join Adif and Adif AV will have access to different training options, which will continue throughout their professional career. The reception plan for the incorporations of the OEP 2023 includes more than 500,000 hours of training.

The plan for technicians and technical staff includes a training program, presentations given by managers and experts in different areas of activity, visits to facilities and a technical training program related to their professional profile.

The technical training for operational personnel, for its part, is adapted to different specialties, such as the case of programs to obtain authorizations for the functions of traffic controllers or those in charge of maintenance work.
