Renfe’s ‘doco’ mobility platform, which integrates all urban and interurban public transport and private and shared services, is celebrating its first year.
Renfe has indicated, in a statement, that since its launch the platform “has transformed the way in which travelers move around Spain, offering an accessible, inclusive and safe travel experience, in a simple and sustainable way.”
During this year, companies such as Bolt, Cooltra, Karhoo, Movitaxi have joined the application, and Transportes Metropolitanos de Barcelona and Globick will soon do so.
All these entities make it possible to offer a planning, booking, purchasing, trip monitoring and payment service directly from the ‘doco’ application.
The platform is a scalable project with a five-year action plan in which the development of additional functionalities is planned that progressively improves the travel experience, recalled Renfe, which has become the first public service management company. door-to-door mobility.
