BARCELONA, 27 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

CaixaBank has launched FXWallets, a virtual account service to issue and receive international payments in more than 50 currency pairs.

It has started this June in pilot mode for a selected group of companies and, starting in September, it will be available to all interested clients, it reported this Tuesday in a statement.

It is accessed through CaixaBank’s digital banking, where the CaixaBank FXNow platform for the foreign exchange market is integrated, and there is no opening or maintenance cost.

The service offers “all the advantages and security” for international payments of traditional accounts, with the incorporation of advances in usability and immediacy.

According to the director of CIB and International Banking at CaixaBank, IƱaki Badiola, this launch is “a very important step in the firm’s commitment to innovation, internationalization and proximity” to customers and their needs.
