Pascual will be the first Spanish manufacturer to send products at home with Uber Eats thanks to an agreement between both companies that will allow users of the application to order a series of ‘gift boxes’ or gift boxes, as reported by both parties in a note from press.

This project, called ‘You deserve it, by Pascual’, will be launched first in Madrid and it is expected that it will gradually spread to other areas of Spain until it reaches all Uber Eats users.

The initiative also has the support of Harina, Embassy, ​​Do Eat and Viena Capellanes, so that Pascual will offer the drinks –the products of its commercial brands, such as Leche Pascual, Bezoya, Vivesoy, Mocay Café or Bifrutas– and the Other partners will provide food with sweet and savory options, such as freshly cut fruit, ‘premium’ toast, pastries and homemade cakes or salads.

Specifically, three box models will be available –You deserve it box’, ‘You deserve it box premium’ and ‘You deserve it birthday’– and eight designs with different messages. In addition, there will be other personalization elements, such as birthday candles or handmade mugs.

The ‘delivery’ or food delivery sector has grown by 80% in the last three years and has reached a figure of 2,600 million euros in the last three years, according to a study by NDP Group.

In view of this upward trend, Pascual has decided to “expand its offer and bring its products closer to consumers through new distribution channels”, as explained in the press release.

In this sense, Pascual’s e-business director, Tomás Pascual Recuero, stated that, through the collaboration with Uber Eats, the food company continues to bet on “offering innovative solutions that respond to the changing needs of the consumer” and seeks to adapt to “a constantly evolving market”.

“With this initiative, we focus on improving the customer experience, providing comfort and efficiency in the delivery of our products,” he specified.

For his part, Uber Eats’ marketing director for southern Europe, Ricardo Pabón, pointed out that this agreement with Pascual represents another step in the delivery company’s goal of becoming “the preferred platform for consumers for their day-to-day purchases and, now also, for special occasions” with the new gift boxes.
