Atresmedia obtained a net profit of 33.4 million euros in the first quarter of the year, a figure 42.8% higher than that of the same period in 2023, as reported this Thursday by the media group to the National Commission of the Stock Market (CNMV).

Atresmedia’s net income increased by 15.5% between January and March, to 245.1 million euros, thanks to the boost in its audiovisual business.

Specifically, this division recorded revenues of 229.1 million euros in the first quarter, 16.7% more than the same period in 2023, while Atresmedia’s radio business reduced revenues by 0.3%, to 18.6 million euros.

For its part, the gross operating result (Ebitda) of the media group amounted to 50.1 million euros between January and March, 37.8% more and its best figure in a first quarter since 2008.
