ID Bootcamps, a technological school specialized in the bootcamp methodology and belonging to the ID Digital School, has achieved 97% employability among its Data Science and Machine Learning and Full Stack web development students, achieving the professional turn that they proposed when they enrolled in the school.
These data are provided by the Employability Study developed by ID Bootcamp thanks to the information collected from the personal cases of its students from the Bootcamps in Data Science and Machine Learning and Full Stack web development.
Bootcamps are intensive trainings that turn people who have little or no knowledge of technology into junior professionals in three months. It is a methodology that requires great involvement on the part of those who study it and, in addition, is subject to professional accompaniment specialized in the ICT sector to achieve the labor insertion of these people.
ID Bootcamps students come from career paths that have little or nothing to do with the technology sector. Its original activities are varied: hospitality, child education, finance or customer service, among others.
These ID Bootcamps students get their first professional opportunity in the technology sector in an average of two months from the end of the bootcamp, that is, they managed to complete their professional career in five months and with an average salary of €21,300 per year.
Employability data in Full Stack web development If we go into detail and compare the two areas, Full Stack web programming and Data Science, we can see some difference. Those students who decided on development and programming have obtained job offers for an average salary of €20,200 per year, but their hiring time is, on average, 1.6 months from the end of their studies.
“The classes are really masterful, I had no idea about programming and today I dedicate myself to it with many possibilities to continue learning and improve my quality of life”, says Leonardo Santamaría who before doing the Bootcamp in programming and web development Full Stack worked as a sound technician; “The main objective from the first day was to acquire in-depth knowledge of the subject, based on mutual support and horizontality, without neglecting to have a good time every day” he points out.
Employability data in Data Science On the other hand, those who opted for Data Science took an average of 2.5 months to find a job, but their average salary rose slightly, reaching €22,100 per year in their first professional contract as juniors.
In this context, intensive technological training such as Bootcamps are a solution that perfectly adapts to the current reality, apart from offering a professional change and new opportunities for those who want to enter the technological world. “I couldn’t be happier for having made this decision given that my professional life has taken a 180º turn” declares Marina Casilda who studied the Bootcamp in Data Science and Machine Learning, “it is an intensive and very practical training that will undoubtedly It works,” he adds.
“We are pleased to see how very varied profiles, without previous experience, are incorporated into entry-level positions in technology companies and thus cover part of the needs of this sector, which needs qualified talent” comments Ricardo Carreras, President of ID Digital School.
About the companies and the contracts The companies that have hired these profiles are mainly companies with up to 50 employees dedicated to offering ICT and consulting services, but we find large companies with thousands of employees and whose sector varies: environmental services, banking or security services. software design and development. It should be noted that, in addition, 91.7% of these contracts were with an indefinite contract.
“We study the individual case of each student to help them grow. Of course, work and personal motivation is fundamental” comments Camino de Pablos, Director of ID Bootcamps, highlighting that “without a doubt the introduction of profiles that may not come with a past related to technology entails monitoring and accompaniment”.
To adapt to the new times of flexibility and teleworking, the ID Bootcamps bootcamps are taught in person or remotely. Students can choose which of these modalities they prefer, sharing a virtual classroom with each other through live classes with the best professionals in the market.
