The Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) has included CaixaBank, for the eleventh consecutive year, among the best valued banks in the world in terms of sustainability, obtaining the highest score (100 points) in the areas of governance in diversity and gender of the Board of Directors ; in code of ethics and conduct and anti-corruption policy; fiscal strategy and transparency; and cybersecurity measures.

The main world index that evaluates the behavior of companies under environmental, social and corporate governance (ASG) criteria has placed CaixaBank as one of the 25 most outstanding banks in sustainability, out of 179 candidates worldwide, the entity has reported financial.

CaixaBank has also stood out for its integration of ESG criteria in corporate banking and in asset management products and services; in measurement and management of CO2 emissions; for the commitment to Human Rights and financial inclusion.

In addition, analysts have “positively” highlighted other aspects such as climate strategy, sustainable finance, materiality, risk management, talent attraction and retention, social action and philanthropy.

CaixaBank is present in other indices such as MSCI ESG Leader Index, FTSE4Good Index Series, STOXX Global ESG, Solactive Europe Corporate Social Responsibility Index PR, ISS ESG Europe Governance QualityScore Index and Solactive ISS ESG Europe Paris-Aligned Benchmark Index.
