“There is the fleur-de-lys which opens up to the world, because that’s also Quebec, this openness to others and this openness to the rest of the country,” said Ms. Anglade in an interview with the journalist. Alain Laforest.

“There’s a big symbol of inclusion and ‘come join us,'” she continued.

“It is a modernization; renewal. The old logo was almost 20 years old. It was time for us to move on.”

The Liberal leader argues that a rebrand comes not just with a logo change, but also with a reaffirmation of the party’s stakes.

“We are going to talk about eco, Charter of the regions, health, then we will arrive and say that, if we take all that, it must also be in our image”, explained Ms. Anglade.
