Formula 1 driver Sergio Perez has tested positive for the coronavirus and will miss the Grand Prix of Great Britain Formula 1, Sunday, at Silverstone, announced Thursday his team, Racing and the organisers of the F1.
“Sergio is physically well and in good spirits, but it will have to stay confined according to the directives of the authorities of public health authorities, the security being the priority for the team and the sport,” said the british team. Racing Point indicates its intent to align the two cars on Sunday.
