astrophysicists around the world have released the largest 3D map of the Universe ever made. The map is the result of the analysis of more than four million galaxies.
The map is the result of a collaboration between scientists from around the world, from thirty different institutions, on more than twenty years. It has been compiled from the latest survey cosmology from the SDSS (Sloan Digital Sky Survey), around a telescope located in New Mexico, in the United States.
