The supermarkets Colruyt and Okay are asking their customers who purchased beef skewers between 9 and 13 July to bring them in the store. The presence of salmonella was detected in meat. The product has been withdrawn from the sale, in consultation with the Agency for the safety of the food chain (Fasfc). On Tuesday, the group has already noted skewers of pork for the same reason.
When microbiological testing in-house laboratory, Colruyt and Okay have found the presence of salmonella in the pork kabobs and the beef kabobs with the date limit of consumption of the 16/07/2020, indicates the group in a statement released Thursday.
