SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, Dec. 13 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Association for the Progress of Management (APD) has recognized Adriana Domínguez González, executive president of Adolfo Domínguez since 2020, with the APD Award for manager of the year. The delivery of this award will take place this Tuesday, at 6:00 p.m., at the Teatro Principal in Santiago de Compostela.
The executive, in addition to going through different areas and positions in the company, has been CEO between 2017 and 2019 and CEO between 2019-2020.
The APD has highlighted that the award-winner has “a deep knowledge of the company founded by her grandparents and modernized by her father”, in which she has managed, for 17 years, various projects in different business areas: concept store design of the company; creation of five capsule collections of the women’s fashion line; the launch of a pet clothing line; or director of the Perfumes area.
The Association has detailed in a press release that this is the first edition of an award that was born with the vocation of “promoting the good work of the managers who govern and lead companies in Galicia”, as well as to “make visible in a singular way their contribution to the progress of management and therefore the generation of positive impact on society”.
The jury for this first prize was made up of representatives of different entities such as the president of the Xunta, Alfonso Rueda; the president of Gadisa, Roberto Tojeiro; the honorary president of Pérez Rumbao, Emilio Pérez Nieto; the CEO of Grupo Leche Río, Carmen Lence; the CEO of Valora Consultores, Senén Ferreiro; and the president of the northwest zone of APD, Francisco Botas.
