An Allentown man is accused of raping an 11-year-old girl.
John Achey Sr., 46, of the 400 block of Green Street, was arrested Saturday and charged with with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and indecent assault of a child under the age of 13.
Achey was sent to Lehigh County Jail in lieu of 10 percent of $100,000 bail.

Allentown police said they were notified Dec. 21 of a possible child sexual abuse case.
When the 11-year-old girl was interviewed Jan. 17, she reported Achey raped her at his home and forced her into sex acts when she was 10 and 11, in 2015 and 2016.
Achey was interviewed by police Jan. 27, where he reportedly admitted to sexually assaulting the child and forcing her into sex acts.
