The former PQ minister and host of 98.5 FM radio is joining the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) to stand as a candidate in the next general election.

Mr. Drainville thus leaves his position on the radio after more than five years at the microphone of a program at the Coigeco station, after a passage in a program on the waves of FM 93 in Quebec.
The former PQ deputy was elected from 2007 to 2016 and appointed minister under the Marois government from 20212 to 2014.
In addition, we learn that the current member for Lévis of the CAQ and President of the National Assembly, François Paradis, will announce this morning that he is not seeking a new mandate.
