The Bit2Me cryptocurrency platform and the online commerce infrastructure company Shopify have reached an agreement so that businesses can accept payments with cryptocurrencies.

Shopify’s new cryptocurrency payment service is channeled through a ‘plugin’ that connects the platform with the Bit2Me Commerce payment gateway.

“The agreement with Shopify is a new turning point in the massive adoption of cryptocurrencies, since for the first time we will be able to buy thousands of products with cryptocurrencies within millions of ‘e-commerces’ around the world”, he pointed out. the CEO of Bit2Me, Leif Ferreira.

For his part, the head of Shopify in Spain, Gonzalo Torres, explained that with this alliance the company wants to promote innovation and the depth and breadth of what it is building with the ‘Connect to Consumer’ (C2C) model.
