Police are looking for a man who smashed a glass front door and crawled into a popular Bethlehem market this week to steal a cash register till while the market was closed.
The burglary happened shortly before midnight Monday at Elias Market, 3131 Linden St.
The unidentified man’s actions were captured on the market’s surveillance video system, and city police on Friday released the video on Facebook.
Police are hopeful someone recognizes the man and comes forward with information about his identify.
The man left the store carrying the till, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash, the city police department’s Facebook post says.
Anyone with information about the man is asked to contact Detective Del Rosario in the department’s criminal investigations unit. He can be reached at 610-865-7187.
