Brunswick Group Welcomes Environmental Expert David Wei as Partner
Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm, has announced the addition of David Wei as a partner in its New York office, effective June 17. Wei, who previously served as the managing director of climate & nature at Business for Social Responsibility, will be joining Brunswick’s global “critical issues” advisory team.
In his previous role, Wei collaborated with companies to establish environmental goals, manage climate risks, and develop initiatives towards a net-zero economy. At Brunswick, he will be part of the global climate hub within the ESG & sustainability team, focusing on energy transition and climate change strategies for clients.
Prior to his time at BSR, Wei worked as a climate diplomat for the Marshall Islands and Alliance of Small Island States during the Paris Agreement negotiations. He also has experience as a securities litigator in New York and a commercial litigator in Toronto.
