Valladolid, February 3, 2023.- Coinciding with World Cancer Day, which is celebrated on February 4, Vallsur joins for another year the awareness actions launched by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). ), and will illuminate the shopping center in green, with the aim of showing its support and raising awareness about this disease.

Throughout the weekend, from February 3 to 5, both the façade and the emblematic fountain of the Valladolid shopping center will be dyed green, the color that symbolizes this disease, thus joining the awareness and sensitization initiatives to give visibility to this pathology.

Additionally, the AECC will be at the Valladolid shopping center on February 9, 10 and 11, as well as March 2 and 3, to inform all those who want to collaborate with the Association, in order to help in the financing of cancer research projects that allow better diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

This year the Spanish Association Against Cancer has launched the ‘Todos contra el cáncer’ campaign to communicate to all citizens the certainty that cancer affects or will affect everyone, and to raise awareness in society about the importance of prevention, early detection and research, and thus achieve 70% survival in cancer by 2030.
