The Ibex 35 fell 0.43% this Friday around 12:05 p.m., standing at 9,189.9 basis points, with most values in ‘red’ after the presentation of CaixaBank results.
The entity registered net attributable profit of 3,145 million euros in 2022, which represents an increase of 29.7% compared to the previous year in comparable terms. If the extraordinary impacts of the merger with Bankia are taken into account, profits fell by 39.8%.
Thus, the bank was the company that fell the most towards mid-session, with a decrease of 3.59%, ahead of Banco Sabadell (-3.17%), Solaria (-2.43%), Unicaja Banco (-1.75%), Bankinter (-1.37%) and Acciona Energías Renovables (-1.28%).
On the other hand, only five stocks have posted gains: Grifols (2.22%), Banco Santander (1.22%), BBVA (0.57%), ArcelorMittal (0.33%) and Mapfre (0.33%). also).
The rest of the European markets have also evolved negatively. Frankfurt fell 0.62%; Paris, 0.21% and Milan, 0.57%. On its side, the Euro Stoxx 50 fell by 0.34% and only the FTSE 100 in the United Kingdom registered positive data, with an advance of 0.17%.
The barrel of Brent stood at 81.94 dollars, 0.29% less, while West Texas Intermediate reached 75.67 dollars, 0.32% less.
In the debt markets, the yield of the Spanish bond with a maturity of 10 years has climbed this Friday to 3.071%, from 2.996% on Thursday. Thus, the Spanish risk premium climbed slightly by nine tenths, up to 92.5 points.
