Casa Tarradellas closed 2022 with a turnover of 1,161 million euros, 8.5% more than in 2021, an increase “based on growth in foreign markets and the consolidation in Spain of new products, as well as traditional products”, The company reported in a statement on Tuesday.
The company has explained that net profitability has been reduced due to the inflationary context, “significantly affecting the prices of raw materials as a whole and energy”.
He added that Casa Tarradellas has assumed this increase in costs to avoid a rise in prices “and its corresponding impact” on the consumer.
The company has invested 32.6 million euros in R D, technology, innovation and sustainability in 2022, “reaffirming its commitment to continuous product improvement”, in addition to compliance with the SDGs and the commitment to caring for its environment.
Finally, he recalled that it is in the ‘top 10’ of the brands most chosen by Spaniards, according to the ‘Brand FootPrint’ ranking of Kantar Spain, and that it is “the most notorious food brand” according to Iope Kantar.
