MADRID, 7 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The CCOO de Industria has regretted that the draft Industry Law, approved last Monday by the Council of Ministers, has been started “in secret” from the social agents and has considered it “unfortunate” that they opted, “once again, for one-sidedness”.
In a statement, the union accuses the Government of not counting on the prior hearing of the social agents for this draft Industry Law, “fundamental to building the industry that the country needs, environmentally and socially sustainable.”
The CCOO stressed that “it is evident” the need to promote a “modern and adapted” regulatory framework for electromobility and the energy transition, since the current Industry Law dates from 1992.
Therefore, he defended that “it is urgent to promote a productive framework that puts industry at the center of the country’s economic development, that territorially supports the State as a whole and that facilitates greater industrial sovereignty, something that was evidenced by the pandemic and the subsequent crises ” .
Thus, he considered it “essential” to participate in its development, although he regretted that the Government “prefers short-distance electoralism, than the promotion of an Industry Law and a State Pact for Industry that bring together all the necessary actors for the long-term vision that the industry needs”.
