The 21-year-old could therefore have the opportunity to play his first regular National Hockey League games since April 5. This season, he had seven goals and nine assists for 16 points in 25 games with the Rocket, while posting a -3 differential. The former Colorado Avalanche has totaled seven Bettman league games in 2021-22, including five with the Habs.
Barron will try to help a squad that has dropped its last two games and will play four times on the road before reconnecting with its fans on January 5.
