Corinne has proven to be the villain on Season 21 of “The Bachelor,” but she’s not all bad. While it appears week after week that Corinne hasn’t made any friends in the house on the ABC series, her Instagram tells a very different story.
On Wednesday, the Miami native gave Kristina Schulman a shoutout on Instagram following her surprising elimination. Corinne shared a photo of the two together, writing that she was “missing” her. It is not clear where or when the photo was taken.
Kristina was sent home on “The Bachelor” in episode 7, ahead of hometown date week. Her elimination from the competition was a shock to viewers, who watched her get close with star Nick Viall in the episode prior. While vacationing in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, she was treated to some alone time with Nick. During their date she opened up about the hardships she faced as a young girl in Russia and being abandoned by her mother. Nick seemed to really be liking Kristina, but he revealed to her that he felt a stronger connection with the other four women remaining on “The Bachelor.”
Heading into Season 21, episode 8, Corinne, Rachel L., Vanessa and Raven are still in the running. Viewers know now, however, that it will not work out between Nick and Rachel L., who also appeared to be getting very close in episode 7. That same night it was revealed that she had been chosen as “The Bachelorette” in Season 13. Rachel L. opened up about the end of her and Nick’s relationship in an interview with People, telling the publication it wasn’t easy for her to get over.
“I was heartbroken over the situation,” she said. “I didn’t think it would end that way for me.”
With Rachel L. out of the competition there has been no shortage of speculation about which of the other three finalists will win Nick’s heart. Raven has become a fan favorite, but many believe it will be Corinne or Vanessa who get engaged when Season 21 of “The Bachelor” comes to a close. Spoiler blogger Reality Steve shared a post before the season even began suggesting that it will be Vanessa who is crowned the overall winner of Season 21, though only time will tell if he’s right.
“The Bachelor” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
