Marvel fans know there’s a rule at every movie: stay until the end of the credits. A post-credits clip isn’t guaranteed, but more often than not, a short scene is there. “Logan” is no different.
There will be a post-credits scene at the end of “Logan,” Collider confirmed. It isn’t clear if it will debut in the middle of the credits or at the very end of them. Not much is known about the clip because it wasn’t included in press screenings.
“Logan” is set in 2029 after a decline in the births of mutants. Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) brings a powerful young girl, Laura (Dafne Keen), to Logan (Hugh Jackman). She needs help, and since she’s his clone, he might be the only one who can aid her.

The movie is Hugh Jackman’s final run as Wolverine, a character he started playing in 2000’s “X-Men.” While Jackman’s time as the mutant is ending, there are still plenty of other movies that are going to take place in that universe. One of them might be teased in the post-credits clip.
A “Deadpool 2” sneak peek is one possibility for the scene. It would explain those rumors — which were strongly denied by all parties — that Ryan Reynolds would appear as the Merc with a Mouth. The sequel, which is scheduled for 2018, is the next “X-Men” movie scheduled to come out. “X-Men: Supernova” might also be a possibility. Sophie Turner recently confirmed that she’ll return as Jean Grey when the action flick films later this year.
Of course, it might not tease a future movie at all. It might simply be an end tag that relates to “Logan.” Fans will have to head to the theaters to find out.
