Stockton’s reformed “hot felon” Jeremy Meeks, 33, made his New York Fashion Week debut Monday night almost a year after being released from prison.
Meeks was arrested in 2014, and convicted of possessing an illegal firearm in 2015. Although he was sentenced to spend 27 months in prison, he was granted early release after serving about 12 months. Upon his release, he promptly signed to White Cross Management as a model.
At the time, his agent, Jim Jordan, told the media that he had “huge plans” for Meeks. “The world responds to beautiful things,” he added. “Jeremy is a beautiful thing. His striking looks [are] the first thing we noticed. His appeal got the attention of the world.”
The internet fell in love with Jeremy Meeks back in 2014 when his stunning mug shot made him look like an abercrombie model. It took a while for Meeks to get back on the outside, he is now using his looks to make legitimate money. He has a few pictures up on his Instagram account, showing that he’s trying to start a modeling portfolio, and he looks just as hot as ever. Hopefully those shots will turn into a real modeling job for him, because he is definitely a treat to look at!
One of those plans, it seems, included landing a runway gig at revered high fashion event, New York Fashion Week, alongside fellow show walkers (and rappers) Young Thug, Fetty Wap, and Desiigner. According to New York Magazine, the show was attended by a few big stars; seated in the front row were Kylie Jenner, Tiffany Trump, Madonna, and Paris Hilton.
