Amal and George Clooney are soon to be parents of two. The couple is reported to be expecting twins later this year.
Following rumors the 39-year-old barrister was expecting, CBS’ Julie Chen confirmed the pregnancy buzz on “The Talk” Thursday. “Beyoncé is not the only superstar expecting twins. Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney,” Chen, who said the show was able to confirm the pregnancy, announced.
Chen went on to reveal that the twins are due in June. Amal and George, 55, have been married for just over two years.
In January, the “Money Monster” actor shut down rumors Amal was expecting after being asked by a reporter to confirm. “No. But I like that you started that rumor,” George told The Telegraph while attending the Good Money Gala in Amsterdam.

If Chen’s reporting is correct, this will be the first children for Clooney and Amal. While the pair have kept the speculated pregnancy a secret, he has been outspoken about their family plans, or lackthereof, in the past.
Less than one year after his wedding, Clooney told reporters in May 2015 that children were not in the cards for him and his wife. “I don’t really [think about it],” he said. “I mean, I’ve thought about it, I supposed, but it hasn’t been high on my list.”
