- Rapper J. Cole makes the jump to headlining arenas, touring his 4 Your Eyez Only album and hitting the Air Canada Centre on July 28. Tickets will be $30-$150.
- Ricky Gervais, performing a standup set he says is his angriest yet, takes the stage at Massey Hall on July 14. Tickets are $66-$80.
- 1980s college-rock survivors The Pixies play Massey Hall on Sept. 29 and 30. Tickets ($50-$90) available Feb. 24 from Livenation.com and the Massey Hall box office.
- English tenor Russell Watson performs at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on June 4. Tickets will cost $50-80.
- Asia On Tour, bringing together a trio of Asian musical acts — Japan’s Miyavi (“the samurai guitarist”), Thai rock band Slot Machine and Korean indie-rock’s Kiha and the Faces — play the Phoenix on April 26. Tickets set you back $25-$45.
- Casino Rama is bringing in ’80s glam-rockers Poison (May 11) and eternal Texas bluesmen ZZ Top (June 3); tickets will range from $56 to $89 when they go on sale March 3 via Ticketmaster and the casino box office.
- Canadian pop act Virginia to Vegas, alias singer-songwriter Derik Baker, plays the Mod Club on April 6. Tickets are $15.
