The KCP Art Bar in downtown Longmont is celebrating the gallery’s recent changes, notably its acquisition of a liquor license.

The venue, formerly called the Kay Carol Gallery & Priscila Working Art Studio, is the first art gallery in Boulder County with a liquor license, according to co-owner Marcelo Fernandez. The three-year-old gallery is throwing a “grand opening” party to mark its new beginning on Friday, Feb. 10. The event kicks off at 4 p.m. and includes live music, a free pin-up photo shoot, live body painting by Niki Blue, Zumba, and beer and wine. The gallery is located at 364 Main St.

KCP Art Bar opened in February 2014 as a studio, gallery and community arts hub.
