The Oklahoma City Thunder are reportedly trying to persuade forward, Paul George, to renew his contract with the NBA club. George is on the brink of rejecting a player option in his contract to become afree agent in the summer. On the other end, the Houston Rockets are expected to bid a resounding offer to lure the lad to Houston.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is of the opinion thatOKC had done a great job of marketing the organisation to George. The Rockets are also making an aggressive push to sign him.The 28-year-old Californian is still in Oklahoma City but surprisingly he failed to commit himself to the club. The action in the transfer arena might not equal that in the game but it is certainly thrilling. Again not as thrilling as real money online casino gambling.
“There was a lot to be happy about: the fans, the city, the organisation”. George briefed the reporter. “Everything has been unbelievable it’s too soon. I’d love to remain a Thunder, but that what’s this summer is for. We’ll address that in the summer.”
George joined the Thunders from the Indiana Pacers last July.He acquired an average of 21.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.0 steal cross in 79 appearances in his first tenure with OKC. The star-studded team which featured high-quality players such as Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony failed to produce top quality performance and it led to OKC being eliminated in the first round of the Utah Jazz first round playoffs.
However, LeBron James and Kevin Durant are also potential players on the market even though George is not of the same calibreas those two superstars. According to a blog found at Cancasinos, he (George) has got the potential to bolster Houston attack if he joins James Harden and Chris Paul. Paulis also on the verge of becoming a free agent but not yet clear if he is seeking a move from the Rockets.
This might go far beyond the Rockets and Thunders as the Los Angeles Lakers are also keen to sign the young George.
