Getting dumped via text is nothing to laugh about — but that’s just what female comedy troupe the Blogologues will do on April 22.

The comediennes’ popular show, “How To Break Up by Text,” has its audience send in screen shots of their most heartless breakups — terrible typos and all. Then, the Blogologues’ Alli Goldberg and Jen Jamula act out the scenario on stage, at the People’s Improv Theater at 123 E. 24th St.

Those who send in their texts say the reaction from the rowdy crowd is validating. The overarching moral of the show is to treat people like people, “not profiles,” Jamula, 34, says.

“It’s called ‘How To Break Up by Text,’ but the solution is: don’t do it,” adds Goldberg, 33.

Here are some of the texts they’ve previously acted on stage for “How To Break Up by Text.” Tickets for the upcoming show are $15 and can be purchased at HowToBreakUpByText.com.
