TROY – Firefighters battled flames inside a home on Third Street Monday morning.
Firefighters were called to 184 Third St., at about 9 a.m. Monday
Fire Chief Thomas Garrett said crews arrived to find heavy fire in the rear of the building. All residents are safe, he said.
Firefighters remained at the scene at 9:30 a.m.
Garrett said the two-story building was structurally sound but heavily damaged by the flames. The cause of the investigation is under investigation.
