Upper Macungie Township police are searching for a man they say caused $2,500 worth of damage to a motel room and fled.

Aleko Archili, 36, of Bayonne, N.J., had been renting a room at Motel 6, 681 Blue Barn Road, according to police. A motel employee noticed Sunday the room was damaged during his stay.

An inner window pane was broken and a Samsung television screen was damaged, according to police.

Police ask that anyone with information call Upper Macungie Township police at 484-661-5911.
