WEST NEW YORK — Holy Name Medical Center officials, along with physicians and members of the community, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Holy Name Medical Partners Hudson County’s West New York Physician Offices on Friday.
The ceremony was attended by West New York Mayor Felix Roque, Holy Name Medical Center CEO Michael Maron, along with Hudson County physicians and members of the community, including Dr. Gilberto Gastell and Dr. Raul Parra.
Local officials attended as well, including West NewvYork commissioners Susan Colacurcio and Gabriel Rodriguez, who spoke on behalf of Rep. Albio Sires. U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez could not attend, but praised the new center in a video message played at the ribbon-cutting.
Speakers emphasized the importance of access to health care under the Affordable Care Act.
