A man in his twenties was found dead after a home invasion in Laval that occurred overnight from Monday to Tuesday.
The police were called shortly before 2 a.m. by a couple who managed to escape from their residence located on Place du Cormoran, said a spokeswoman for the Laval Police Department.
The police cannot confirm whether the lifeless body showed signs of violence, but the couple who alerted the police had very minor injuries, according to Érika Landry.
Forensic identification technicians were expected Tuesday morning at the scene to analyze the scene and try to better understand what really happened.
Nothing has leaked out about the deceased individual other than his approximate age, with the police investigation still ongoing.
