Meet Kristen Ottea, a professional model and taxidermist who turns heads in fashion and mounts heads as big game trophies.
The 25-year-old runs Ottea Taxidermy in San Antonio, where she transforms hunters’ kills into stunning works of still life. That is, when the hunter herself isn’t stunning her more than 10,000 Instagram followers with snapshots from her vast modeling portfolio, which includes work in Glamour magazine, a commercial with Spurs star Tony Parker, runway struts in New York City and Los Angeles as well as London and Singapore, and the occasional bikini pic with a firearm.
