Louvre Hotels Group has announced the appointment of Federico J. González as the company’s new CEO, following the departure of Pierre-Frédéric Roulot. The new CEO will continue in the role of Executive Vice President at Radisson Hotel Group.

The company ensures that this natural transition of CEO “is a continuation of the group’s global strategy.” These appointments have been agreed by the respective boards of directors of both chains, owned by Jin Jiang International Holdings.

Thanks to his extensive hotel experience, Federico J. González hopes to take advantage of the work of the Louvre Hotels Group teams in recent years “to drive growth and successfully position the company in order to capitalize on the many opportunities in the market.”

González has extensive experience in executive management in the hospitality, leisure and fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors. Before joining Radisson Hotel Group as CEO in 2017, he was CEO of NH Hotel Group, where he led the company’s growth.

Previously, he held the position of Deputy CEO of Disneyland Paris and spent 16 years in management positions at Procter

A marketing professional, González has written three books: ‘Living and working abroad’, ‘How to live and work with Portuguese’ and ‘How to succeed in business the Swedish way’.

González specialized in Economic Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid and obtained a master’s degree in International Trade and Finance from the École Supérieure de Commerce in Paris. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. In January 2021, González became an independent member of the Sodexo Board.
