A Bethlehem man is accused of bringing drugs into a fast food restaurant.

Charged is Michael S. Glicias, 34, of the 500 block of East Fourth Street.

City officers at 1 p.m. Tuesday were dispatched to the Wendy’s Restaurant, 306 Broadway. Several people, including Glicias, were in the parking lot and appeared to be under the influence of a substance, police said.

A witness reported Glicias entered the restaurant carrying a white backpack and sat down with a woman and two men. Glicias then entered the restroom, police said.

Officers arriving waited for Glicias to leave the restroom. A search found a used syringe with residue on it, a prescription pill bottle with methamphetamine inside and a digital scale, according to police.

Officers also seized from the backpack 71 empty glassine packets, five syringes and a white pill bottle containing heroin, as well as $1,205 in cash and a cellphone, according to police.

Glicias is charged with possession with intent to deliver drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned before District Judge Richard Yetter III, who set bail at $100,000.

In lieu of bail, Glicias was sent to Northampton County Prison.
