A man robbed two businesses on the Southwest Side within an hour of each other Wednesday morning, police said.

About 10:15 a.m., he robbed a business in Bridgeport, in the 3400 block of South Halsted Street. Then, just after 10:50 a.m., he moved southwest to Brighton Park and robbed a business in the 3900 block of South Archer Avenue.

He is described as a black man between 20 and 30 years old standing 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-2. He may weigh between 160 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, black jeans with a black design on the right rear pocket, and red gloves with the fingertips cut off.
