Officials are looking into the credibility of a threat found sprawled on a bathroom wall at Lake Mary High School on Wednesday.
The threat said that on Feb. 13, “bulets (sic) will fly.” It told students not to show up and said “you have been warned,” school officials said.
Principal Michael Kotkin sent a message to parents Wednesday saying the threat appeared to be “non-credible,” but Seminole County sheriff’s deputies were investigating.
Kotkin’s message also said there will be increased security at the school.
“We treat any and all threats extremely seriously,” the message read. “Preventative measures will be in place along with added security as an extra precaution.”
