MADRID, 24 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Orange Digital Center, the free course platform of the Orange Foundation, has inaugurated this Friday its physical headquarters with a space of 340 square meters in Madrid.
The center will host the Foundation’s digital activities, with a focus on digital training for vulnerable groups, as well as entrepreneurs and the educational community, according to a statement.
The executive director of CSR, Diversity and Solidarity of the Orange Group, Elizabeth Tchoungui, has highlighted the importance of technology and that people have the possibility of training in it and acquiring digital skills.
“Thus, the physical headquarters of the Orange Digital Center is a point of reference, which helps us to take a further step in the digital inclusion that we pursue from our Foundation, at the same time that we contribute to ensuring that no one is left behind in this very changing,” he stressed.
The foundation will organize hands-on workshops, conferences and round tables on digital topics, while providing these types of competitions to anyone who wants to have an easy and accessible encounter with technology.
Currently, the Orange Digital Center already offers 60 courses and 55 webinars around its thematic training itineraries: digital inclusion, fight against climate change, entrepreneurship and responsible use of technology.
